Jinnie Jefferies

Jinnie is a Senior Trainer and Founder of the London Centre of Psychodrama. She is also a counselling psychologist and has a private individual practice in West London. As well as heading up the Psychodrama Department at HMP Grendon Underwood, Jinnie has pioneered training in Greece, Ireland and London and has written and lectured widely on Psychodrama, in particular its use in treating eating and personality disorders and the forensic patient.

Over the past decade she has made several television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4 using psychodrama and action methods. In 1996 she was invited to be a member of a scientific committee financed by the European Union and subsequently directly organised a psychodrama programme focusing on youth at risk in Greece, Southern Ireland and England.

Anna Chesner

Anna is registered as a Senior Trainer with the BPA. She works in private practice in London with individuals, couples and groups, and consults to Maudsley and Henderson hospitals. She teaches on the Msc programme in Therapeutic Counselling at Greenwich Unversity. She co-runs a BPA and BADTh accredited supervisor's training course. She is co-director of Playback AME playback theatre company, and runs regular training courses in this improvised theatre method.

She is widely published in the field of action methods and runs regular training and experiential workshops in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Course Therapist (London): Maxine Daniels BSc (Hons) UKCP Registered Psychodramatist/Psychotherapist.

Maxine uses role-play in the therapeutic field of forensic psychology and is role-play/psychodrama consultant to the Prison Service for different Treatment Programmes that include Sex Offenders, Violent Offenders, Substance Misuse Programmes and men with Learning Difficulties.

She has worked in America, Finland, Ireland, and Scotland and in most secure hospitals in Britain. Maxine currently runs a psychodrama group with men diagnosed as personality disordered in Frankland Prison, Westgate Unit. She is also visiting lecturer at Brunel University on the MSc Health and Science Occupational Course. Maxine specialises in role-play training using actors. She has worked with clients such as Lord Chancellors Dept, Breast Care Cancer, BP Oil, Hospitals and Education.
