Residential Workshops
The annual Summer residential in Greece offers a wonderful opportunity to combine the delights of sun and sea with a week of in-depth psychodrama work. Run by either Jinnie Jefferies or Anna Chesner this regular part of our calendar provides an opportunity for personal development, healing and learning, and can be used by trainees as residential training hours.
In addition we run occasional residential workshops in the UK – for instance, in 2010 on the Interplay of Psychodrama & Playback Theatre at The Abbey, near Oxford.
 The Therapeutic Triad Residential Workshop
Monday 29th August - Friday 2nd September 2011
In Afytos, Halkidiki, Greece.
Course Trainer: Anna Chesner
Using a combination of dramatherapy, psychodrama
& group analytic sessions this workshop will explore
personal & group themes in the picturesque village of
Afytos. Ideal for an introduction to the method/s or to
deepen your experience. We will work with the
themes that arise in the group & that are of personal
relevance, using creative & reflective methods
informed by the three models of therapy.
The workshop takes place in a small block of selfcontained
flats within the village of Afytos. The
structure of the days takes advantage of the benefits
of living under the same roof as a mini therapeutic
community – with evening meals taken together in the
village each day. At the same time there is free time
at lunch & in the afternoons to enjoy the village or
beach.
Group size limited to 12. Hours can be used for CPD
(50) or towards BPA accredited training.
Dates: Monday 29th August - Friday 2nd September 2011 inclusive
Schedule:
Arrivals Monday after 1pm, first session starts at 4pm.
Course ends late Friday evening with departures Saturday 3rd September.
Venue: Afytos, Halkidiki, Greece.
Cost:
Early bookings rate - if booked by March 11th: £600 for twin bedded flat shared with another
person £700 for a flat to yourself
Bookings made after March 11th:
£680 for twin bedded flat shared with another
person £780 for a flat to yourself
Not included in the cost: Travel to Afytos, breakfast, lunch and drinks with the evening meal.
There is a mini-supermarket next door, fridge and cooker in room for self-catering and many cafes and restaurants in the village and on the beach.
Non refundable deposit of £200 due with
registration, balance due by June 1st 2011
Cancellations: 50% of full fee refundable up to 21st June 2011.
