other courses and workshopsThe London Centre for Psychodrama offers a rolling programme of training weekends for its Certificate and Diploma students. In addition we offer the following courses, which are open to people who are not necessarily training with us on the Certificate and Diploma Courses. Annual Open Training WeekendNow that we are re-locating to our new permananent base at 51 Tabernacle Street London EC2A 4AA we are delighted to be able to invite you to an annual Open Training Weekend. Join us in exploring a particular theme for a weekend. These weekends constitute 17 external training or CPD hours and are open to trainees from other schools, psychodramatists and other therapists interested in developing their practice. Experiential Psychodrama Weekends in LondonFour weekends per year, running from Friday evening to Sunday 5pm. These weekends are an opportunity for an in-depth experience of psychodrama in a confidential and supportive setting. The emphasis is on personal work, and may be used
Residential Psychodrama WorkshopsThe annual summer residential in Greece offers a wonderful opportunity to combine the delights of sun and sea with a week of in-depth psychodrama work. Run by either Jinnie Jefferies or Anna Chesner this regular part of our calendar provides an opportunity for personal development, healing and learning, and can be used by trainees as residential training hours. See calendar for details of the forthcoming seaside venue and theme. The family myths and legends four day residential in GlastonburyThis workshop uses psychodrama and family therapy approaches. Held at the Chalice Well, at the foot of the Glastonbury Tor, this experiential 'retreat' is an opportunity for personal work away from everyday pressures. Run by Anna Chesner and Chip Chimera this workshop can also be used by trainees as residential training hours. Creative Supervision TrainingThis one year course, accredited by the British Psychodrama Association and the British Association of Dramatherapists is open to experienced practitioners from the caring professions who have been qualified for at least two years. We offer a distinctively creative and action based approach to supervision. The course is held in London and the West Country. Training in Playback TheatreCourses for beginners and experienced playbackers. Psychodrama trainees and practitioners may use these workshops to enhance creativity and spontaneity. The core training is open to anyone with an interest in this improvisation-based community theatre form. Residential psychodrama workshops for playbackers offer an opportunity to explore the relationship between psychodrama and playback theatre in action.
